Szucie, Plock, Poland

Szucie is a wies (village) in the district of Skrwilno, the powiat (county) of
Rypin, and the Prussian province of Plock. The
Nicholas Brodzinski
family, including Margaretta "Sophie" Brodzinski (Lawrence's
mother) emigrated from here.
In 1905, Szucie had 31 houses, 212 residents. Skrwilno is the nearest larger
town, and is the location of the Post Office, telegraph, train station, and bus
line. It is also the location of the Roman Catholic Parish, where our
Brodzinski ancestors worshipped. The Amtsgericht (local court) is in Rypin and the district court
is in Plock.
